DESIGN. RED, THE PASSION OF DESIGN
The R takes all the characteristics of the F3 to an extreme, with lines designed for performance and projected into the future. Style and performance find their ultimate expression in the contrast between the red fairing and all black components.
RACING SPIRIT
The lightweight, compact and powerful in-line three-cylinder engine delivering 147 hp at 13,000 rpm is painted totally black, just like the spoked wheels. The red fairing is an anthem to the aerodynamic efficiency and racing vocation of the F3 R.
FUNCTIONAL ELEGANCE
The F3 marries typical MV style, which makes it unique and totally original, with the tangibility of a high-tech project. The air ducts, for example, help optimise engine cooling as well as the rider’s thermal comfort.
PURE MV AGUSTA SOUND
At the heart of the F3 project is the in-line three-cylinder engine, a unique example of race-derived technology that is easy to manage, on both road and track. The extreme versatility of the engine, rich in torque at all speeds, is one of the secrets of this unit complete with counter-rotating crankshaft and removable gearbox. The intake and exhaust valves are in titanium.
INCREASINGLY ADVANCED
The electronics continue to evolve with refinement of the traction and wheelie controls, the definition of increasingly accurate engine mapping, and optimised fuel management across the entire delivery curve. The MV EAS 3.0 electronic quick shift is perfected in terms of the gears and is now even faster.
JUST A CLICK AWAY
Centred around the 5.5” TFT display, the instrumentation offers a greater range of information than ever before. Thanks to the MV Ride app, the user can customise the motorcycle's electronic parameters directly via a smartphone, making everything easier and more enjoyable.
NEW FRONT CALLIPERS
The ability to prevent locking through the turns makes the Continental ABS with cornering function a real ally, even in critical conditions. The new Brembo M4.30 Stylema front callipers, paired with PR 16/19 radial master cylinder, ensures heightened braking power and optimum lever management. And the weight drops by 300 grams.
